By listening to them, I tried building a secret website where I was promoting affiliate products.

Most people are doing it wrong
If you think that after creating a blogging website, you can promote products and make affiliate income, you are a noob.
There is too much competition, you are not trustworthy, and you don’t know the hacks, so you are not going to make money as an affiliate marketer.
So what can you do?
Find your niche, write super valuable content on the internet, and build a following that trusts you.
Do it for a couple of months, or even for a year.
